SMGI Board

My wife and I had the privilege of serving as missionaries in Italy before moving to serve in Manchester UK. We recently returned to our home city of Boise, ID where I currently serve as a pastor. Through SMG, we can continue to serve with the ministries in Europe and assist with the treasurer responsibilities and financial stewardship. I'm so thankful for the special connection back to Italia and Europe as we have had a first-hand burden for the people in the countries there.

It has been an honor to serve with SMGI and to be a participant in the restorative work God is doing throughout Europe as part of His Grand Narrative. The Bible says, “we are God’s fellow workers” (1 Corinthians 3:9) and God “gave us the ministry of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:18). SMGI has answered this call and I am humbled to be a part of it.

The fields in Italy and across Europe, to include our US Military bases there, are ripe for harvest and the people there need to hear about Jesus. By grace, I've been following Jesus since 1976 and have worked with scores of people and ministries over the years. Serenissima outpaces all of them when it comes to Gospel impact, integrity, and stewardship of resources. I've known Pastor Rob and Sandy Krause since 2000 and have admired their Christ-like character, commitment to the Gospel, and highly value our friendship and ministry partnership. My wife Kim and I being a part of this team has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives.
