Churches around the world have had to adjust to the reality of having about half of their people physically present and the other half hopefully connected on-line. To stay connected in these days, you need a solid internet connection and reliable equipment. One of our growing churches in Trieste, Italy has been connecting both to their members and people who are interested in listening to Bible messages through their YouTube channel in Italian. However, the other day, their lower-grade video camera stopped working and stopped streaming video. For leadership teams and pastors, this is so frustrating and stressful when you need your tech to work with you and for you -- not against you.
So, we as the Serenissima Ministry Group would like to make an appeal to all of our friends and donors to help their ministry to proclaim the Good News through effective video transmission. The ministry already has all of the software and computer setup for transmission, they just need a camera which can be easily controlled to point and zoom with good quality and the right audio and visual ports.
We have found one which really works well in a number of other ministries for a price of $720 USD (€595 EUR). For under $1000 we can all help them meet their video transmission needs for the coming years. We often receive questions of how churches can help churches. Here is an easy one -- join in on some Covid-eos with our church in the corner of Italia.
Here is the link to donate directly to the project (for those in the USA, your donation is tax deductible to the full extent which the law provides).
Thanks in advance everybody!
